4.  When he started this site in 2005 he was unemployed and living with my parents in North Carolina.  His goal was to get himself to New York and start a film career — without any connections, and without going to film school.  And this site got him there.  It’s a long story, but thanks to this blog he was able to lie his way into a job at MTV (and a three-year career as graphic designer).

8.  If you get successful enough at blogging and critiquing or even teaching equipment companies may ask you to rate and advertise their kit!  We setting up a website don’t forget to allow advertising hosts… that way when it gets more popular you can make some pennies… hosts

9.  I find the easiest way to set up a website at the moment is by using Wordpress.com. 13.  Make a to do list with a deadline and advertise it through your blog.  Let people know that you are learning and what mistakes you have made!
