Creating your own digital foot prints By Roxanne Prophet

 Blogging, how easy and how many different ways….  Vimeo Vs. YouTube  Casting Call Pro  IdeasTap  Unit List  Lets get you started

 NoFilmSchool is a site for DIY filmmakers and independent creatives. The site focuses on tools and technology relevant to filmmakers, writers, directors, editors, producers, cinematographers, bloggers, designers, and entrepreneurs. NoFilmSchool  NoFilmSchool was created by Ryan Koo NoFilmSchool

 When he started this site in 2005 he was unemployed and living with my parents in North Carolina.  His goal was to get himself to New York and start a film career — without any connections, and without going to film school.  And this site got him there.  It’s a long story, but thanks to this blog he was able to lie his way into a job at MTV (and a three-year career as graphic designer).

 That “movie mode” hidden in the menu system of your new DSLR?  AMAZING GUIDE! AMAZING GUIDE!  This guide was written by him reading forums and learning from all the available teaching platforms online. E.g. Phillip BloomPhillip Bloom  Also includes great people and websites to check out. You could do some research into writing your own book?

 “My site has also gone from becoming a place to showcase my work to a place for people to learn and share. There is a wealth of information on my site for both the seasoned and junior film maker. I hope you find it useful. We all need as much help as we can get to make it these days and I hope I can help.”

 "Film Riot is the best of the bunch. Serving as an on-demand film school, this series stands out as a prime example of under-the-radar geeks who carved out a DIY niche that’s both useful and entertaining". - Wired.comFilm Riot  CREATE YOUR OWN HOW TO VIDEOS, they teach you and others and its like creating a behind the scenes of a movie
