Sun Spots are areas on the Sun that are cooler than others. The Sun is the largest object in the Solar System. Light from the sun can reach Earth in only eight minutes! SUN
Mercury has no atmosphere. Mercury has no moons. Mercury’s orbit is not a perfect circle, its actually egg-shaped! MERCURY
Venus has no moons. Because Venus is so close to Earth, it is the brightest planet at night. Venus has a lot and a lot of volcanoes. VENUS
Earths moon is named Luna. Scientists use Earth to study all the other planets. The diameter of earth is 7,926 miles. EARTH
Mars has two moons. If you weighed 70 pounds on Earth, you would weigh 27 pounds on Mars. All of Mars’s water is either frozen or underground. MARS
Jupiter has 62 moon. You can see 4 of Jupiter’s moons with binoculars at night. If you weighed 70 pounds on Earth, you would weigh 185 pounds on Jupiter JUPITER
Saturn has 62 moons Saturn is well known because of its rings Saturn is the least dense planet in the Solar System SATURN
Uranus has 27 moons Uranus spins on its side Scientists believe that on the surface of Uranus, there might be an ocean URANUS
Neptune’s orbit is offset from the sun Neptune has 13 moons (that we know of) Neptune has 6 rings around its NEPTUNE

By Keith Lehman Mercury has no moons. Mercury is 1/3 the size of Earth. On Mercury, a day is 59 Earth days long. Mercury is a rock planet.
Rank the Planets. All objects in the solar system are visible because of reflected light from the sun! Only stars emit light! Light.
The order of the planets is……….. The sun, Mercury, Venus, Earth, Mars, Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus and Neptune.
