3 Read each of the four School’s Vision Statement Identify by lettering your individual page: A. Which statement best describes the school you attended as a child ? B. Which statement best describes where you currently work? C. Which statement best describes where you would like to work? D. Which statement would you like for your own or special child in your life to attend? Share with your table PLC one insight you gleaned from this quick activity or how you could use this with your staff.

4 Guiding Questions for PLC Discussion  How does Big Idea 1, focusing on learning impact your position?  Discuss one change that will need to occur or be reinforced in your school to embrace a highly collaborative culture.  Give two examples of results that a PLC could focus on at your building and why?  Does student performance in your school correlate to achievement on district and state assessments? How do you monitor this relationship?  Give a positive example of a teaching team responding to the needs of students who are not achieving at expected levels. Should response be consistent across your school and why?  Create an icon for each of the PLC 3 Big Ideas

6  WISE Plan – PLC design format and implementation  Identify your Leadership Team who will be working in a PLC to continue the Site Improvement Plan development.  Review the new data with your team and begin entering your new data.  Review your existing plan considering your new data.  Training for WISE will be the first week in October.  WISE Coaches, School Improvement and School Accountability will be working with your teams for support
