The big pieces of land on Earth are called continents. There are seven continents: North America, South America, Europe, Asia, Africa, Australia AND Antarctica

The USA, Mexico, and Canada are the three biggest countries in North America. Basketball is a favorite sport. We can find many things at our stores that were made in India, Japan and China, even our school uniforms and our shoes…check your labels. Cricket is a favorite sport on this continent. Native people in Australia are called Aborigines Australia is known for its kangaroos, didgeridoos, and The Great Barrier Reef. Tennis is a favorite sport. Waltzing Matilda is a well known song.

The only people who live there are the scientists from other countries who study the area. Since there are no people groups, there are no songs to be sung and no flags to be hung. In fact, the only singing in Antarctica are by George and Gracie. Following this presentation, we will complete the trip around the continents with a journey to Africa!
