Bonds entail interest rate risk (as interest rates rise, bond prices usually fall, and vice versa) and the risk of default. This effect is usually more pronounced for longer-term securities. Lower-quality bonds can be more volatile and have greater risk of default than higher-quality bonds. Foreign investments involve greater risks than U.S. investments, and can decline significantly in response to adverse issuer, political, regulatory, market, and economic risks. Any fixed-income security sold or redeemed prior to maturity may be subject to a substantial gain or loss.

You can add positions held away from Fidelity or add hypothetical positions. The default list is View All (the portfolio). You can also select an account list or a list you create. The Analytics section can be used to help you identify different types of risk or diversification opportunities. Credit Ratings View Moody’s or S&P credit ratings. Federally Taxable Identify the percentage of your positions that are either Federally Taxable or Tax Exempt. Sector Exposure View the percentage of your corporate bond holdings that belong to each of the sector categories. Type See a breakdown of the type of individual fixed income security positions you hold. Federal Alternative Minimum Tax (AMT) View the percentage of Municipal bond positions that are expected to generate interest income subject to Federal AMT. Use of Proceeds Initially, this chart will show the percentage of Municipal bond positions that are either General Obligation or Revenue bonds.
