The word team, which is found throughout these guides, refers to personnel grouped together because they have a common work mission. Everyone with a CATMS account in placed in a team. A DASD typically has several teams: a front office and several directorates. There is no Home button in CATMS. Home is the Action and Tasker Dashboards (slides 9-10). 1

4 4 Managing CATMS Pop-ups: Tabs There is no Home button in CATMS, so each time you perform an action, a new window or tab will open (pop up). For this reason, many find it easier to have pop-ups open as tabs in one window, rather than as multiple windows. To have pop-ups open as tabs in one window: 1.Select in the top right of your browser. 2.Select “Internet options.” “Internet Options” dialogue box opens. 3.Select “Tabs.” “Tabbed Browsing Settings” dialogue box opens. 4.Select “Always open pop-ups in a new tab.” 5.Select “OK.” “Tabbed Browsing Settings” dialogue box disappears. 6.On “Internet Options” dialogue box, select “Apply.” 7.On “Internet Options” dialogue box, select “OK.” 1 2 3 4 5 6 7

5 5 How to Access CATMS: CATMS URL and Email Notifications The 2 access point for CATMS are: The CATMS URL (only in Internet Explorer): https://crm.osd.mil/CATMS1https://crm.osd.mil/CATMS1 Email notifications –At the bottom of the email, select the following link to go to CATMS home: –Select the OPR or OCR hyperlink for your name/team name or to open your version of the tasker: –Select the hyperlink for a tasker you or your team is working:

6 6 How to Access CATMS: Select Email Certificate In Internet Explorer (IE), select the Email Certificate when it pops up.

8 8 If You are Unable to Access CATMS (slide 2 of 2): 3.On “General” tab, below “Browsing history,” select Delete. New dialogue box appears. a.Check these boxes. b.Select “Delete.” c.Select “Apply.” d.Select “OK.” 4.Return to “Internet options” (previous slide). 5.Select “Content” tab. 9 9 Using the Action Dashboard 1.Select “Dashboards” in the left navigation pane (under “My Work”). 2.Select “Action Dashboard” from the drop-down list. 3.To view only those actions associated with you/your team, select the “My Active Actions” view. Otherwise, select “Active Actions.” Select white space in the right navigation pane to activate the “New Action” button. 4.Select “New Action” button in order to open a new action window (shown on next slide). Select the white space in an action row. Scroll down to see tasker(s) associated with an action. 4 1 2 3

10 10 Check the Status of Your Tasker from Home view From your Home dashboard, you may quickly check the status of your tasker. 1.Find your tasker: a.search for it (slide 18), or b.sort to find it using the “Assigned Date” header column. 2.Select the white space in a tasker row. CATMS opens this view. NOTE: this view may show fewer assigners or assignees than the “Tasker Status” view on the previous page. 3.Select “TASK ID” number to open a tasker. 1b 1a 2 Provides ID of parent action associated with tasker. 3

11 11 Locate a Tasker (Using the Search Function) 1.Set the “Dashboard” drop-down menu to “Tasker” 2.Use the dropdown menu to set the “Taskers” grid view to “My Personal Taskers” 3.Go to the search field a.Type *[characters of TaskID]*, e.g., *M500*; or b.Type *[word(s) in the Subject]*, e.g., *tasker to* This search technique lessens the number of taskers in your view. 3a 1 2 3b 4.Result 4 NOTE: This view is now called My ActiveTaskers.
