However, partnership sustainability can be difficult (Zakos & Edwards). This may be partly due to the need for greater knowledge concerning the managerial and organisational factors which are necessary for partnership effectiveness (Einbinder, Robertson, Garcia & Patti, 2000). This suggests that there is a need for greater evaluation of partnerships to uncover such factors.
