INPUT An input device is any hardware device that sends data to a computer, allowing users to interact with and control it. The picture shows the a Logitech trackball mouse; an example of an input device. Below is a listing of different computer input devices that can be used on a computer.

KEYBOARD A keyboard allows you to type in to your computer

MOUSE A mouse allows you to move your curser around the screen and click

GAMEPAD It allows you to play some games easy

MICROPHONE It allows you to record your voice

MICROPHONE A microphone allows you to input sound into a computer

GRAPHICS TABLET A graphics tablet or digitizer enables a user to hand-draw images

SCANNER is a device that optically scans images, printed text, handwriting, or an object, and converts it to a digital image

TOUCHSCREEN It allows you to control the cursor with your hand by the screen

CONCEPT KEYBOARD It changes buttons to images or words

OUTPUT An output device is any piece of computer hardware equipment used to communicate the results of data processing carried out by an information processing system (such as a computer) which converts the electronically generated information into human-readable form. Display devices
