3 TRINIDAD AND TOBAGO Birthed in 1780’s. Initiated by slaves imitating the dance moves and dress of slave master during galores. Activities : Fetes, Kides Carnival, Extempo and Calypso competitions, Ole Time Mas. Tagged “ The greatest Show on Earth” Contributions : Promotes Foreign exchange & Tourism

4 BARBADOS Birthed 1780’s It was a plantation event marked by the arrival of the last cart of canes and punctuated by a day of dancing and frolic. It marks the end of the sugar crop harvest.
