ADMINISTRATIVE EVENTS: An orientation can be organized for the freshers to introduce them to IEEE and WIE. Students can be told about the benefits of IEEE. They can also told about WIE and how they could be a part of it. 8/20/20152 Orientation For Freshers

Membership Drives are conducted every 6 months to bring in new members into IEEE for the benefits of themselves. Need some brochures/goodies to provide to the participants or members. Please fill the form below for Membership Development Supplies Kit. www.ieee.org/mdsupplies Note: Only the Student Branch core committee can order for supplies. www.ieee.org/mdsupplies 8/20/20153 Orientation For Freshers (2)

8/20/20154

IEEE DAY IEEE Day is a global event held on 2 October 2012, under the theme "Engineering the Future and Beyond", on the anniversary of the first time IEEE members gathered to share their technical ideas in 1884. Beside a great time and empowering members to engineer the future and beyond, the team took care of supporting active volunteers and encouraging them to participate in the 2012 photo contest. 8/20/20155

IEEE DAY (2) Ten best photos from the top rated will be awarded with a US $500 prize, designated for unit activities. Besides the contest, IEEE units are encourage to submit a group photo, to be gathered in one video and published in IEEE.tv. 8/20/20156

An event with the motive to help the second year students to prepare their Term Paper. The participants were helped to select their topic of interest, how to carry out their research work and were made familiar with the Format of the Term paper. 8/20/20157 Write My Term Paper

Student Mentor Volunteer Program 8/20/20158 Meant to bridge the gap between the incoming first year students and the seniors. Each first year student was allotted a senior to guide him in academic and non-academic areas. Around 260 first year students benefitted from this program. Spanning over a period of one month it covered 70 volunteers from 2 nd, 3 rd and 4 th year students.

GOLD Meeting Meetings are organized to the members of GOLD (Graduates of Last Decade). Fun events are organized to keep them motivated along with important discussions such as future events that could be conducted along with the rest of the members. 8/20/20159

Student Professional Awareness Conference Event(SPAC) Engineers must be proficient, professionally astute, and clearly aware of their responsibility to society. Student Professional Awareness Conferences explore the subjects that affect engineers' careers, regardless of how well engineers prepare themselves technically. S-PACs are an effective vehicle to transmit the professional awareness that enhances the technical education they receive in engineering school. S-PACs permit students to learn from the varied experience of successful engineers. The conferences have potential to increase student membership and to encourage ongoing participation in IEEE. S-PACs are becoming a strong force for improving the electrical engineering profession over the coming years. IEEE 8/20/201510

CODENIGMA – A coding contest CODENIGMA – a coding competition was organized in which students were asked to form teams of two or participate individually. The competition was organized online on a platform called “Mooshak”. Mooshak is a system for managing programming contests on Web. The submitted programs were automatically judged on this platform. 8/20/201511 TECHNICAL EVENTS:

Mock Interview A Mock Interview is one of the very best ways to prepare for an actual employment interview. The Mock Interview will help you to learn what is expected in a real interview, and how you can improve the way you present yourself. The interview is video recorded and then reviewed with you and a trained Mock Interview Coach. The Mock Interview Coach will provide constructive feedback on all aspects of the interview process. The Mock Interview Coach will try to make the interview as realistic as possible. Many of the questions you will be asked are interview questions from actual employers. The Mock Interview takes about 20 minutes; then you will watch and discuss your performance. The Mock Interview and critique will last approximately one hour. 8/20/201535

Mock Interview (2) Workshop - focused on logic and coding techniques useful from the point of view of on- campus and off-campus placements. Session covered queries related to written round, interviews and group discussions. The dos and don’ts for engineering students after graduation. The career options one could take up for post- graduation like robotics, management, civil services, public sector, banking, TV and film and many others. 8/20/201536
