2. What is a printer? A printer is a device which produces a text and/or graphics of documents stored in electronic form, usually on physical print media such as paper or transparencies.

5. Ink-jet printer It use tiny ink drops to create an image. This is achieved by using magnetized plates which direct the ink's path onto the paper in the desired pattern.

6. Laser printer A computer printer in which a laser is used to form a pattern of electrostatically charged dots on a light- sensitive drum, which attracts toner.

7. The laser uses a single light source that is directed by moving mirrors. After this, the lens “paint” that light onto the drum.
