1. DIRECTIONS : This project may be completed individually or with a partner. Your task is to plan a Breast Cancer Fundraising Event and include the following: 1.An Invitation (50 Points) 2.Party Favor (50 Points) 3.Breast Cancer Card (50 Points) 4.Menu (50 Points) 5.Class Participation (100 Points) This is an in-class project. 6. Total Points for this project = 300 Points

2. Create an invitation (Examples will be provided). It should be done in Pink. The following specifications on the invitation should be: who is invited, the time, date, place, clothing attire (casual / elegant), RSVP, phone number: 754-323-0650, name of the contact person (You/Your partner).

3. Provide a “Party Favor” for your guest Having something to provide each guest with as they attend the event. It could be candy, earrings, ribbon, basket, flowers, T- Shirts, etc.

4. Breast Cancer Card Search the internet to find some type of card that you like and recreate it. We can donate the cards to the local hospitals or you may give it to someone you know.

5. Design a Menu The menu must have a Fashion Diva / Divo Theme: (Fashion terminology) – Ex: Jessica Simpson Buffalo Wings: (10) Mild Buffalo Wings with ranch dressing on the side You must have color and photos Don’t forget to include your name / partner on the back of the menu You must have the following on your MENU: – (3) Three Appetizers; – (2) Two different types of soups – (2) Two different types of Salads – (4) Four Main Entrées – (3) Three desserts – (6) Six Beverages (Non-Alcoholic & Alcoholic)
