9 Other Characters Rev - a 'brainiac', deeply religious, a decent, likeable boy; offers to tutor Louie. Louie - 'white trash', from a poor background, and not a scholar; singer and dancer; open-minded – "I'm with everybody." Petey – oversensitive, self-centred, has to learn to put the team ahead of himself. Sunshine – has a personality to match his name. Blue – sees life through music; but also shows grit, determination. Ray – invented character to represent the intransigent racist.

15 Exploring Narrative Tension
Narrative means story – so narrative tension means tension that comes from the plot or storyline. Use the Cloze Summary Sheet to divide the plot line of Titans into 12 main parts. Once you’ve done that, create a narrative tension graph to plot the ebbs and flows of tension throughout the story. Tension Extension Challenge Chart the main sub-plot as well Plot Point
