3 www.netnod.se What has happened Netnod and PTS has been discussing time and frequency for years Netnod have run one pilot project 2012, financed by the TU-Foundation 2 nd project is now run by Netnod on request from, and financed by PTS In reality many organizations are involved, Internetkompetens, SP, SUNET, TU-Foundation

5 www.netnod.se Services available Local time scale traceable to UTC(SP), exposed via NTP, IEEE 1588v2 and frequency Specifically 1pps and 5/10MHz from local time scale to NTP server and IEEE 1588v2 Grand Master Clock are to be correct NTP should respond over IPv4 and IPv6 with signed responses in up to 10Gbps IEEE 1588v2 available by the Grand Master Clock(s) Frequency in the form of IEEE 1588v2 on E1 interface (G.821) available by the Grand Master Clock(s)
