US, Britain, and Canada against Germany at Normandy, June 6,1944. Allies captured five beachheads : Juno, Sword, Gold, Utah, Omaha by nightfall. 2:42 A.M- soldiers off Utah beach. Allies got help from parachutists and mulberries(floating docks).
