2. Summary… IETF v6ops in March 2009 decided to fast track the IPv6 CPE Rtr doc Doc was broken up into two docs – Phase I and Phase II Phase I would only include tech in RFC form Phase II deals with rest of the features that could not go into Phase I and tech that is Work in Progress

3. Summary The bis draft is Phase II that will again go thru an IPv6 WG for WG acceptance So far following features are included in the bis doc 1.Mcast Forwarding 2.DNS services 3.Prefix sub-delegation, Zero-conf support 4.IPv6 transition mechanisms 5.Packet filters 6.Qos, Path MTU, Conceptual Config Variables 7.ND Proxy
