5 Three of the most common classes of fonts are: Serif fonts Sans-serif fonts Script fonts

6 Serif Fonts Has little "feet," called serifs, at the ends of the lines that make up the letters. Some examples: Times New Roman Palatino Linotype Garamond These fonts are more traditional, elegant, and old-fashioned.

7 Sans-serif Fonts Don't have those feet. "Sans serif" means "without serifs." Some Examples: Arial Verdana Tahoma Helvetica These fonts are more clean and modern.
