6 Program One Two projects from the UNSADP; the Livelihood Development Program, and Communities for Peace (C4P), dedicate themselves to helping refugees. Both of these programs strive to make the lives of people easier, whether it be rebuilding roads and farms, or if it is improving relations between the people. We will grant the C4P, 75 million Euros and the Livelihood Development Program, 100 million Euros for their cause.

7 Program Two During 2004, The Indian Ocean Earthquake devastated the Subcontinent. Sri Lanka was the hardest hit with 35,000 people dead, only topped by Indonesia. The UN has many programs dedicated to rebuilding Schools, hospitals. The UN is also giving food and shelter to those who need it. We would like to make 100 million Euros available to this cause.

8 Program Three The vast majority of the rural population does not have any access to the internet. This leaves them at a huge disadvantage, not being able to communicate with any one out side of their country, or to keep up with pressing global matters. For this program we can spare 25 million Euros for the ICTP (Information and Communication Technology Agency).

9 Conclusion 300 million in aid will: Improve relationships with the Tamil population. As well as this it will allow them to rebuild their society. Give rural areas internet access boosting education and international connections. Relieve the victims of the tsunami who are still fighting to go back to their normal lives.
