22 Scientific Application & Int’l Cooperation of Space Technology
SJ-5 SJ-5 is the first modern small scientific satellite based on general bus ( CAST 968 ). SJ-5 was successfully launched on May 10th, 1999. Applications Customer The main purpose is to study space radiation environment and single particle effect and its countermeasures Space liquid scientific experiment China Academy of Science

23 Scientific Application & Int’l Cooperation of Space Technology
Double-Star Plan Double-Star project mainly studies the magnetic storm triggered by the solar activities and the interplanetary disturbances and the physical process of disasterous geospace weather, then further more set up the physical model of magnetic storm, dynamic model and forecast model of geospace environment. The successful launches of TC-1 and TC-2 in 2003 & 2004 led to a new era of Chinese and European space research cooperation. Application: Space Environment Monitoring Customers: China Academy of Science, ESA
