1 By: Lauren Jones & Aaliyah Bailey Period 2- S.S Feb. 9, 2012

2  Foreclosure in house.  No money to pay bills.  No money to buy needed supplies.  Barely surviving and borrowing money from others.

3  People don’t get paid enough.  Money is hard too get.  Hard to find jobs to get money.  Families are losing cars, houses, getting behind on bills, and cant support their families.

4  Everyone is effected by poverty.  A lot of people don’t have money and a lot of people don’t have enough money.  Poor people don’t have money are frequently unable to pay for housing, food, childcare, healthcare, and education.  In 2007, 12.5% of the U.S population,or 37,300,000 million people, lived in poverty.

5  Not enough job pay.  Not having jobs.  Paying too much for bills.  Trying to provide for homes and can’t really save money.

6  Laid off from work.  Rent and mortgages due.  No help with trying to get money.

7 The scope of poverty is that ½ of children live in national poverty.

8  (Poor Countries)Improving supplies of clean water, to reduce time spent gathering often foul water and reduce illness caused by foul water supplies.  (Richer Countries) Improving the quality of education for poor children and education opportunities and incentives.

9 The best solution for poverty would be to lower the age requirements. Lowering the prices of items.

10  We wouldn’t struggle to pay  Not as many people stealing  It makes things easier on families  The economy wouldn’t be as bad

12 Our economy is falling apart because of financial issues. Such as money, this is very important because of people getting laid off. I personally think jobs and certain requirements such as pay, hours, and age. So I would like you to lower the age requirement so people can help support their families and it would help the economy.
