5. Target Company Cablevision was a great starting point, full benefits free, pension, 401k, great place to get started because those are necessities especially when you have children. I learned of this job while I was in between jobs working at a temp agency. I started out doing maintenance work for three months I used to make sure the HR offices were extra clean. I spoke to the HR manager about myself regularly.

6. Who Am I? New York City was were I grew up four of the five boroughs: Queens, Bronx, Manhattan and Brooklyn this is wear I learned street smarts. I worked since I was 12yrs old starting out babysitting After graduating high school it became necessary to got to college or get a city job to survive

7. Destination Human Resource Management is a slow growing field in the last three years 1300 positions have been added 130 jobs each year, and a total of 340 job openings each year. Entry level position in this field is easy to get having clerical skills, personal contacts and networking plays a big role Entry level positions can start anywhere from 10,000 to 30,000 but at it’s best up to 100,000.

8. Bottom line While working on my Degree focus on doing good in my current position Networking in my current position will allow me to find the correct people to further myself because you have to know someone to go a little farther After completing my Bachelors Degree I will seek a position within my company in the HR management field.
