3. About the book This book is set in the sixteenth century. Queen Elizabeth I is looking for a man called Richard Falconer. She sends a lord, Sir William Hawkins, to Framlingham in Suffolk. He finds a boy called Tom Falconer. He tries to take Tom away but Tom’s friend, Gamaliel Ratsey, shot Sir William and he died. Tom ran away to London and got taken in by a thirteen year old pickpocket. Tom got a job in a strange theatre company. It’s not long before Tom finds out something very shocking about them… Read the book to find out what happens.

4. This book is an Adventure Fiction book. It is a one off book, not in a trilogy. It is aimed for people about eleven to fifteen years old. It is not too easy but not too hard either. I would recommend it to anyone who is into adventure thrillers. If you like this book, you should try reading Anthony Horowitz’ other books.
