Word has predefined pictures and shapes. Word includes drawing tools that enable you to create your own graphics and add them to your documents.

The Clip Art task pane appears. Key a descriptive word in the Search for box, and Word will search for images that match the text you entered.

Selection rectangle – box with eight small squares that appears around the clip art when it is selected. Sizing handles – squares on the selection rectangle used to adjust the size of the clip art.

Format, Picture, choose layout tab. Select the style of wrap you’d like your text to do around your graphic. INLINE wrapping is still a style of formatting. It just doesn’t give you much control over your picture. (for placement)

View, Toolbars, Drawing Objects that have been drawn can be resized, cut, and copied. You can also add color and change the line style.
