Specifically, work to create –Gravity fill version of the algorithms –Thermal field optimization techniques using the equilibrium temperature technique we developed.

Computer Modeling5 Computational Tool for Short Run Insert Production and Improved Yield This is a small DLA project for CastView There is funding for one student Two components –Yield evaluation & improvement –Database/procedures for linking die bases and inserts for rapid tooling To be reviewed today

Modeling tutorial for distortion modeling. –Web-based –Basic complete but needs improved –Addresses the boundary condition and “how to” issues that are difficult in these problems –Make it more complete and more accessible to the typical user Updating computer modeling course –Must match the industry needs and expectations.
