2. Unit Overview In this unit, you assume the role of a Tourism Staff that help promote the Filipino culture among the youth by learning about the fiesta of a particular place and showcasing it in a multimedia presentation and distributing brochures about the place to promote it.

3. Expected Learning Outcomes At the end of this unit, you should be able to: 1. Note, organize and analyze details as you gather information about the place, the people and the fiesta celebrations in the Philippines; 2. Discuss among yourselves how fiesta celebrations depict the culture of the settlers; 3. Appreciate one’s identity, being part of the Filipino culture; 4. Express your opinions about town fiestas; 5. Make judgment whether or not celebrating fiesta is a need; 6. Promote Filipino culture among your fellow students;
