2 w h a t i s c o n f l i c t ?? A problem faced by a character. A problem faced by a character. It is a STRUGGLE between OPPOSING characters or forces. 4 Character vs. Nature (Man vs. Nature) External Conflict External Conflict A struggle between a character and something in nature… can be an animal, unless ALL characters are animals, or natural disaster ( ex.
