4. I use P erformance B ased O bjectives in GATE. PBOs are important because PBO’S would help us measure are work ethic, are work percent, and to how well one person works then the other.

5. I use L anguage B ased O bjectives in GATE. LBOs are important because without LBO’S we would not be able to use proper language, correct spelling, and proper punctuation.

6. What is Red Light Thinking? Red light thinking is when you stop and gather facts from the reading story or even from a persons story. For a example Lets say you read a book then you grab all information for your book report. That’s how red light thinking

7. What is Yellow Light Thinking? Yellow light thinking is when you stop and ask questions, and drawing conclusions. For example Lets say you asked is Uranus cold? Then you calculate Uranus sense it’s a gas giant, and farther then sun it has to be cold.

8. What is Green Light Thinking? Green light thinking is when you get the question and you know the answer like the back of your hand.  For example Lets say it said are you able live on Uranus? You say,” No because Uranus is below freezing, it’s a gas giant, and there's no atmosphere.

9. Why is our GATE Student Checklist important? Our gate student checklist is what helps us do are work. If you don’t have you don’t know what to do.

11. GATE Student Journal  Date: 2-27-12  Entry five: My personal goal is to make friends with the new girl and her name is Caroline. The reason why is because she looks like she needs a friend and just by her appearance she looks sweet, nice, and friendly. I would love to be her friend and it will happen today because my friends will help me become friends with her. My academic Goals is to finish all of my work like, gate warm ups,projects, and most important home work I will finish every last bit of every thing each day. and it’s coming along well. I decide to make friends one way or another. I listed to my parents and their always right. They would be proud of me. It was a good idea because know I have a Friend and now I’m not so lonely. No because I have a friend and she has friend and we won’t be so lonely. Maybe because they might already do that.

20. Introducing my GATE Teacher my G.A.T.E teacher’s name is Mr. Lewis. He is funny because sometimes he cracks a joke from time to time. He’s also smart because he helps us and he believe is us.

21. Why is GATE important to you? G.A.T.E is important to me because it teaches you more advanced L.A and math. Because if you are in a lower class its like you are learning it over again. They Created GATE because it means: Gifted And Talented Education. That’s why its important to me.
