4 Chinese Myths A white bird Myths are an important part of the Chinese Culture. This myth about a girl who turned into a white bird. A myth is a story that is said to people, but the story is not true. A myth always has a purpose for example: There are myths in many rural places with goat. One famous Chinese Myth is about a scary animal that is brown and has really sharp claws. It only eats goats. If you have a goat then the animal will eat or attack you. The myth teaches a lesson, and that lesson is that kids should go to bed early.. There are a lot of Chinese myths. Another famous myth is about a god that was a girl when she died in the ocean she turned to a bird. the story is shown on the next page

5 The white bird This is the story: Once there was a god of the sun who had a daughter. The father who will never leave the house if it was not sunset and he will never come home if it was not sunset. One day the father went out to go take a walk so the daughter went out to go see the ocean. She got a small bout then she noticed it was almost sunset then waves began to form the waves made her fall of her bout, she sank into the ocean, just then she began to flout back up and turned to a pretty white bird with red claws. I think the purpose of this story is that everything is possible in life not like turning to a bird but like making your dreams come true #
