REVIEW… Eternal Life --> live as God instructs “Faith without works is dead”

“Do the will of the Father” The will of the Father How to enter the Kingdom of God Matthew 7:21 “Not everyone who says to Me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ shall enter the kingdom of heaven, but he who does the will of My Father in heaven.”

Do the will of the Father!Do the will of the Father! Calling out the name of “Jesus” will NOT get you into the Kingdom of God! We have to “DO” the will of God…

What is the will of the Father? What is the will of the Father? 2 Peter 3:9 The Lord is not slack concerning His promise, as some count slackness, but is longsuffering toward us, not willing that any should perish—but that all should come to repentance.

God’s desire is to give ALL of us the gift of eternal life! Repentance = realizing how we have NOT lived God’s way & then making life CHANGES… We are to live God’s way of life

Paul’s JourneyPaul’s Journey

God’s purpose for your lifeGod’s purpose for your life John 10:10 b I have come that they may have life, and that they may have it more abundantly. Deuteronomy 30:19-20 I call heaven and earth as witnesses today against you, that I have set before you life and death, blessing and cursing; therefore choose life, that both you and your descendants may live; that you may love the Lord your God, that you may obey His voice, and that you may cling to Him, for He is your life…

God is a loving, caring, concerned, patient Creator. Ezekiel 33: 11 ‘As I live,’ says the Lord God, ‘I have no pleasure in the death of the wicked, but that the wicked turn from his way and live. Turn, turn from your evil ways! For why should you die, O house of Israel?’

Genesis 1:26-27 Then God said, “Let Us make man in Our image, according to Our likeness… So God created man in His own image; in the image of God He created him; male and female He created them. Characteristics of God:Characteristics of God: 1 – To look like God1 – To look like God 2 – To have emotions & intellect like God2 – To have emotions & intellect like God

Genesis 2:7 And the L ORD God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living being. God made man physical – not spirit (John 4:24)

Human beings can become spirit… HOW? John 3:5-7 Jesus answered, “Most assuredly, I say to you, unless one is born of water and the Spirit, he cannot enter the kingdom of God. That which is born of the flesh is flesh, and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit. Do not marvel that I said to you, ‘You must be born again.’”

The “Captain of our Salvation” Jesus Christ Hebrews 2:10 For it was fitting for Him, for whom are all things and by whom are all things, in bringing many sons to glory, to make the captain of their salvation perfect through sufferings.

Romans 8:16-17 The Spirit [Itself] bears witness with our spirit that we are children of God, and if children, then heirs—heirs of God and joint heirs with Christ, if indeed we suffer with Him, that we may also be glorified together. For I consider that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory which shall be revealed in us. Joint heirs with Christ!Joint heirs with Christ!

1 Corinthians 15:50-54 Now this I say, brethren, that flesh and blood cannot inherit the kingdom of God; nor does corruption inherit incorruption. Behold, I tell you a mystery: We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed—in a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trumpet. For the trumpet will sound, and the dead will be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed. For this corruptible must put on incorruption, and this mortal must put on immortality… then shall be brought to pass the saying that is written: “Death is swallowed up in victory.”

Revelation 5:10 And have made us kings and priests to our God; and we shall reign on the earth. God’s Kingdom: new life! new job!

1 Corinthians 2:9 “Eye has not seen, nor ear heard, nor have entered into the heart of man the things which God has prepared for those who love Him.” God’s Kingdom: new life! new job!

Revelation 21:4 And God will wipe away every tear from their eyes; there shall be no more death, nor sorrow, nor crying. There shall be no more pain, for the former things have passed away. God’s Kingdom: what will NOT be part of the Kingdom

Isaiah 9: 7 Of the increase of His government and peace there will be no end. Salvation offered to ALL

Matthew 25:23 His lord said to him, ‘Well done, good and faithful servant; you have been faithful over a few things, I will make you ruler over many things. Enter into the joy of your lord.’ Matthew 25 parable Jesus preached the gospel
