4 The Museum of the Revolution was built as a provincial capital, but wound up as the palace of Cuba's dictator, Batista.  Now it is a museum, since Fidel Castro has moved his headquarters out of the old city into newer (and uglier) buildings.

5 Where to stay Cuba is a spectacular country, with beautiful and very warm loving people. Most tourists will go to areas such as Varadero, Jardines del Rey (Cayo Coco, Cayo Guillermo) or Holguin and stay in an all inclusive hotel resort, but my best advice is to go other places to get your input on different sites out in Cuba it’s a big place, stay one day in a hotel and the other in a Casa Particular, where you will be a guest in a Cuban family's home. Have dinner in the Paladares, talk to the Cuban people, mingle with the locals and feel ... La Vida Cubana

6 LOCATION OF CUBA Cuba is nestled towards the north of Caribbean merging with the waters of the Caribbean Sea, the Gulf of Mexico and the Atlantic Ocean. Bordered to United States and Bahamas to the eastern front, Turks, East of Mexico, Caicos Island and Haiti towards the western front, Cayman Island and Jamaica towards the southern area.

7 weather Climate Cuba's tropical climate ensures hot and humid conditions throughout the year. Between November and April the weather in Cuba is hot and dry, and this is the busiest tourist season. Between May and October there is a high rainfall, and in the latter part of these months Cuba is subject to the threat of the hurricanes, which annually visit the Caribbean.
