2.  A video game developer is a complex job,but the basic goal is to develop a video game. There are multiple jobs inside of the title of video game developer such as programmers and graphic designers. Since there are multiple genres of games, depending on which you are working on your work might be different to another video game developer.

3.  Video game developers work on the complex process of creating fun video games for large audiences. To do this they must develop a story, write the code, work on artificial intelligence, graphics, music, etc.

4.  You need experience and training to be a video game developer and which thing you need to be trained in depends on what specific job you choose. If you are a play tester for example you don’t need training, but a programmer needs a lot of training in programming languages and other tools.

5.  It isn’t to hard to find a job as a developer as most companies have openings and even if you can’t find a job you can always start your own company. Making a independent company and making money is easier in the game market as you can give people your products a bit easier.

6.  Video Game Developers put in a lot of time into their projects. Overtime and work over the weekend are common place in the industry as you usually have to work to a deadline. Traveling can be a part of the game development process as well. However game development can be very fun as it is usually a very enjoyable experience and you are usually proud of your end project.

7. s The income varies widely depending on exactly what role you are working as. Programmers may make more money than a game tester for example. However on average the salary ranges from 35K – 100K.

8.  You can go many places from this job depending on what role you had. A programmer with the experience they have now acquired will most likely get another programming job and a graphic artist will most likely get another art related job. Also it depends on the company,but like any other job if you do well you will most likely get promoted.

9. Most video game companies offer medical benefits to their employees, most also including dental coverage. Not as many, but still a lot of, companies also give employees access to a retirement plan through their employer.

10.  After all this research, I would still like the opportunity to be video game developer. Not only did the research show the benefits of the job, it also showed some requirements.
