6 Love never gives up. Love cares more for others than for self. Love doesn't want what it doesn't have. Love doesn't strut, Doesn't have a swelled head, Doesn't force itself on others, Isn't always "me first," Doesn't fly off the handle, Doesn't keep score of the sins of others, Doesn't revel when others grovel, Takes pleasure in the flowering of truth, Puts up with anything, Trusts God always, Always looks for the best, Never looks back, But keeps going to the end. 1 Corinthians 13

7 How would you define love in a sentence? What would you say the opposite to love is? Is love a feeling, a decision or both? Relationships are the most important thing in the world, agree or disagree? When do you think is a healthy age to start dating? Do you have to boyfriend or girlfriend or can you choose to wait? Does it matter if you have lots of romantic relationships when you are young? Do you think it is important for the person you are going out with to have the same beliefs as you? What might be some of the positives of having a boyfriend/girlfriend? What might be some of the negatives of having a boyfriend/girlfriend? Come up with 3 top tips on how to survive dating and relationships as a Christian. What wisdom will you take from this session?

8 How does Jesus show love to us? “As the Father has loved me, so have I loved you. Now remain in my love. 10 If you keep my commands, you will remain in my love, just as I have kept my Father’s commands and remain in his love. 11 I have told you this so that my joy may be in you and that your joy may be complete.12 My command is this: Love each other as I have loved you.13 Greater love has no one than this: to lay down one’s life for one’s friends. John 15 9-13
