2. 1 ST PROMISE: GENESIS 12:1-3 God promised Abraham: “I will make of you a great nation” “ I will bless you” “I will make your name great, so that you will be a blessing.” “I will bless those who bless you and curse those who curse you.” “All the families of the earth will find a blessing in you”

3. 2 ND PROMISE: GENESIS 15:1-6 (1HR46MIN36SEC) The second promise is God promised Abraham that he would be Abraham’s shield and will make his reward great Your descendants will be as numerous as the stars in the sky

4. 3 RD PROMISE: GENESIS 17: 3-8 (2HR10MIN16SEC) God made a covenant with Abraham Abraham would become the father of a multitude of nations God changed his name from Abram to Abraham The covenant was everlasting that God would be with Abraham and his descendants forever God would give Abraham and all his descendants Canaan

5. 3 RD PROMISE: GENESIS 17:15-22 God promised Abraham and Sarah that they would have a son named Isaac Abraham started laughing when God said they were going to have a baby because Abraham was 100 and Sarah was 90 Isaac means laughter in Hebrew Sarai became Sarah~ princess to queen

6. FULFILLMENT OF THE PROMISE: GENESIS 21:1-5 Just as God promised, a son was born to Abraham and Sarah. His name was Isaac.
