4 CHRISTMAS TRADITIONS IN EUROPE  Pupil‘s’ age: 3 – 13  Project partners: Spain, Poland, Greece, Italy, Bulgaria, Romania, UK, Slovakia, Armenia, Ukraine  Subjects: Art, Cross Curricular, Ethics, Foreign Languages, History, History of Culture, Language and Literature, Pre-school Subjects, Primary School Subjects, Religion  Tools to be used: Chat, e-mail, Forum, Other software (Powerpoint, video, pictures and drawings), Project Diary, Twinspace  Aims:  -using English as a foreign language in real situations,  - develop the ability to compare,  -explore holidays and traditions of other nations  Work process:  1: Our countries present themselves.  2: We present: How we celebrate Christmas in our country, what we eat, who brings us gifts...  3: What we’ve learnt about Christmas traditions in European countries. After watching/reading the posted documents each class or student group produce a small document (a poster, a power point presentation, a video) showing what they learned about Christmas traditions in one/two/three countries involved in the project. http://youtu.be/7nSpgHYExMk

5 Pupills’ age: 11 - 19 Project partners: Ukraine, France, Czech Republic, Georgia, Armenia, Turkey, Italy Tools to be used: Chat, e- mail, Other software (Powerpoint, video, pictures and drawings), Project Diary, Twinspace, Web publishing. Subjects: Art, Foreign Languages, Geography, History, History of Culture, Religion Firstly, we will introduce ourselves. Then, we will prepare a quiz before and after the presentation of our countries. Within the presentation of the most important events and personalities, we can make short videos with subtitles. The main aims of this project are to learn new interesting information, to communicate in English and to make a booklet of the most interesting contributions.

7 1. An European Cookery Book will be created. 2. There will be the Evening of European cuisine - every partner will prepare dishes from partners cuisine. 3. It will be held with the parents and guests. Every partner will prepare a movie as a TV show to present different dishes from the assigned partners countries cuisine - 3 or 4 countries cuisine. 4. It will be a real cooking TV show program in English. 5. An e-book and a printed book will be prepared.

8  An European Guide Book will be made. Every partner will choose 5 remarkable places in their country, illustrate them and prepare a Power Point presentation for them.  Then an e-mail book and a printed book will be made.

12 Two e-books and printed books, more then 50 presentations, more then 25 movies which will present European cuisine, more then 150 illustrations, video questions and quiz games.
