12 EFFECTIVNESS OF APPROPRIATE GOVERNMENT OR COMMUNITY AGENCIES
Major concerns that Australian youth are becoming addicted to binge drinking. Advertisements on TV designing to be hard hitting and get the message across. Some of the advertisements are good because of the visual outcomes. Showing graphic pictures of what could happen if you drink too much.

13 STRATEGIES More advertisements on the TV, and on billboards or bus stops showing the negative effects and consequences when people drink too much alcohol. Increasing the price of alcohol and making the labels less appealing The labels should be the ‘don’t turn a night out into a nightmare’ advertisement so people have a constant reminder when drinking. ‘Drink Wise’ Australia is committed to shaping healthier and safer drinking culture in Australia. They are a non-for-profit, and independent based organisation.
