2 Hydrogen  Hydrogen is the first element.  It has the mass number of 1.00794.  The atomic number is 1.  Symbol is H.  Hydrogen is the lightest element.  Common uses for hydrogen are..  In welding it is used for a shielding gas.  Companies often use it for cooling rotors in electric power generators.

3 Helium  Helium is the 2 nd element.  Mass: 4.0026  Atomic number: 2  Symbol: He  helium will not burn or react with other elements.  Common uses :  Helps NASA’s shuttles to get into space.  Thermographic cameras(help see through smoke or rubble.

4 Lithium  3 rd element.  Mass : 6.941  Atomic Number: 3  Symbol: Li  Common Uses …  disposable and rechargeable batteries  absorb neutrons in nuclear fusion.

5 Beryillium  4 th element.  Mass: 9.012182  Atomic#:4  Symbol: Be  Common uses:  high-speed aircraft, missiles, space vehicles and communication satellites.
