Children should be encouraged to reach the highest level of education they are capable of. Education should develop each child’s personality and talents to the full. It should encourage children to respect their parents and their own and other cultures. This covers: Education Potential Culture Dignity Talent SEAL StudentsBoth Adults Listen to and follow instructions Allow the teacher to teach Respect the classroom and school environment Allow others to learn Accept that there will be consequences for not meeting your responsibilities Complete homework as requested Try your best in all parts of school life Listen to everyone’s opinions Don’t intentionally intimidate, humiliate or embarrass anyone Treat people politely and without discrimination Turn up on time with the correct equipment Keep the school safe for everyone Follow procedures and policies, including issuing consequences only for those who have not met their responsibilities Provide positive feedback when possible Provide a stimulating environment with good resources, using creative and varied teaching styles Always use correct first names and make an effort to pronounce them properly Secondary Credit: Wallasey School, The Wirral
