3 Commission on Teacher Credentialing Ensuring Educator Excellence Title II Reporting   Title II is a federal mandate   HEA was signed in 1998; legislation was reauthorized in 2008   Sections 205 through 208 of the Title II of the Higher Education Opportunity Act (HEOA) call for accountability for programs that prepare teachers 3

5 Commission on Teacher Credentialing Ensuring Educator Excellence 5 Title II Reporting Phases  Phase I: Program Completer and Enrolled Data Collection (individual-level data) –Evaluation Systems (ES) will open the website on October 1, 2010 –ES website will remain open until April 2011  Phase II: Institutional Report Card (aggregate level data) –Institutional and Program Report Card (IPRC) developed by Westat
