4. Kites Kites played a big part of understanding the laws of lifts, propulsion, and control which later apply to building airplanes.

5. Hot air Balloon  The modern age of aviation began with the first untethered human lighter-than- air flight on November 21, 1783, in a hot air balloon designed by the Montgolfier Brothers.  Jean Pierre Blanchard flew the first human- powered dirigible.

6. Glider  In 1803 Sir George Cayley was building and flying planes.  Between 1867 and 1896 the German pioneer of human aviation Otto Lilienthal developed heavier-than-air flight. He was the first person to make well- documented, repeated, successful gliding flights.  The Wright brothers were the first to fly in a powered and controlled aircraft.

7. Commercial Aviation Tony Jannus conducted the United States' first scheduled commercial airline. Boeing Company concentrate on wide-body and narrow-body jet airliners. This company been around since 1917. They produce different range of planes from commercial to militaries.
