THE POWER OF THE KINGDOM

I Corinthians 4:20 “For the Kingdom of God is not in word but in power.

There were many there who thought that Christianity was a point of view or teaching AMONG many others.

Jesus comes and rescues people out of the kingdom of Satan and delivers them into His kingdom.

ONLY JESUS!

IN OUR WORLD...

Some church members don’t believe in the power of Jesus.

2 Timothy 3:5 “having a form of godliness but denying the power thereof.”

The only things we will believe can happen are the things we can do in our own power.

1) What kind of person are you?

2) What’s your life like?

3) What do those closest to you think about your spiritual life?

4) Is there evidence God’s power in your life?

5) Have you ever experienced the miracle of the salvation of Jesus?

WHAT SHOULD THIS POWER BE DOING IN US?

1) Convicts of sin.

2) Enables us to hear and understand the message of salvation.

3) Transforms us into a new creation

4) Transforms our desires to come in line with those of Jesus.

5) Empowers us to overcome temptations and trials.

6) Works the will of God in our lives even if it takes miracles to do it!

Remove this wonder- working power from Christianity, and what do you have left?

Religious franchises managing community service programs!

FYI: The world is not paying attention to our words any more.
