2. The way you give is just an expression of how you live and how you live is based on who you love. In other words, Before you can give correctly with your hand, you've got to believe personally with your heart. Ezekiel 36:26, "A new heart also will I give you, and a new spirit will I put within you: and I will take away the stony heart out of your flesh, and I will give you an heart of flesh.“ Psalm 51:10, "Create in me a clean heart, O God, And renew a right spirit within me."

3. There Must Be An Earnest Pursuit Of God A. W. Tozier: “I want to want Thee; I long to be filled with longing; I thirst to be made more thirsty still. Show my Thy glory, I pray Thee, that so I may know Thee indeed.“ We know a lot about God, but we don't really know God. Exodus 33:13, "Now therefore, I pray thee, if I have found grace in thy sight, show me now thy way, that I may know thee, that I may find grace in thy sight: and consider that this nation is thy people.

4. Mark 12:30? "you shall love the LORD your God with all your heart, with all your soul, with all your mind, and with all your strength.“ Tozier: “Religion, so far as it is genuine, is in essence the response of created personalities to the Creating Personality, God."

5. Salvation isn't the end, it's just the beginning. Sure, you can't go anywhere with God until you get there, but once you get there, you aren't supposed to stay there. You're supposed to go on with God. Grow with God. Get to know God. JI Packer, "A little knowledge of God is worth more than a great deal of knowledge about Him."

6. There Must Be An Expressive Praise To God In verse 3, we're told that He praised God with His lips. In verse 4, we're told that he praised God with his tongue and his hands. In verse 5, we're told that he praised God with his will and his mouth. And in verse 6, we're told that he praised God with his memory and his mind. Praising God can turn a wilderness into a worship center. It can turn a dry, dusty desert into a place where the spirit of God falls down like rain.
