2 The Land There are 8 major islands Hawaii, Oahu Kauai Maui Lanai Niihau Kahoolawe Molokai. Hawaii is known as the “big island.” Mauna Kea state highpoint at 13,796 feet. Hawaii is know as the Aloha state

3 Climate The average Summer temperature is 82°F. The average Winter temperature is 77°F. Parts of Hawaii is dry. Mt. Waialeale on Kauai is the worlds wettest place.

4 Jobs and Economy Hawaii 1,000 factories make 1 million dollars for the state each year. Other jobs include Selling goods Military Repair workers Doctors Farming Nurses

7 About the Author I am Nick Baker. I am 10 years old. I have a twin brother named Sean. I have one dog named Stanley. My hobbies include hockey and soccer. In my free time I like to play x –box and play outside. And watching the Bruins.
