2 Minimum wages $ 8.80 per hour $ 352.00 per week for salesperson Payment of Earnings 10 days after end of the each period

3 Maximum Daily Hours 8 hours and maximum 12 hours Daily Rest Periods after every 5 hours- 30 minute break Overtime & Overtime Pay If more than 8 hours a day or If more than 44 hours a week Must be paid at rate of 1.5 times the regular wage rate

4 Basic Vacational Pay Reporting to Work At least $8.80/hr x 3 hours At least $8.80/hr x 2 hours after 1 year - 2 weeks vacations with pay after 5 year - 3 weeks vacations with pay

5 Deductions from Pay Legal Deductions Income Tax, Canada Pension Plan, Employment Insurance, Alberta Health Care Premiums Other Deductions Company Pension Plans, Dental Plans, Personal Charges to company credit card

7 Maternity and Parental Leave 52 weeks of unpaid with job protected leave 15 weeks of maternity leave and 37 weeks of parental leave Notice Requirements: six weeks written notice to start leave four weeks written notice to return to work

8 4 weeks - for employment of 4 years, but less than 6 years 5 weeks - for employment of 6 years, but less than 8 years 6 weeks - for employment of 8 years, but less than 10 years 8 weeks - for employment of 10 years or more. Termination of Employment The minimum notice requirements that employers must give are: 1 week - for employment of more than 3 months, but less than 2 years 2 weeks - for employment of two years, but less than 4 years
