7. 7 Changing Channels The MicroSync™ Digital has 4 Channels. The transmitter and receiver are set to channel 1 at the factory *. 8. 8 Remotely Trigger Cameras With the addition of an accessory cable (not included), the MicroSync™ transmitter and receiver can be used to remotely trigger most SLR cameras. Here’s how:  Locate the electronic shutter release input on the camera.  Plug the corresponding end of the cable into the camera’s electronic shutter release input.  Plug the cable’s sub-mini phone plug into the MicroSync™ receiver output.  Holding the transmitter, press the test fire button to fire the camera.
