3. In our last lesson we learnt that buildings don’t have to be built and designed one way. Through imagination and creativity buildings can be designed and made using many different shapes. Lets take a closer look at 5 buildings and try to find the hidden shapes in each building.

9. In each of the 5 buildings we saw, we found… Triangles Squares and rectangles Diamonds with triangles and rectangles And rectangles with squares and pentagons. Houses and buildings are all around us and are made from many different shapes. Next time you are out and about with your “shape sheet”, see if there are buildings and houses that have the same shapes you have. If you see new shapes you can add them to your sheet.
