Why should PDHPE be taught in a primary school?

What is PDHPE? PDHPE in schools, is the study of development for children. Children are taught how to keep an active lifestyle and keep healthy. Students also learn about such things as Road Safety, community values, roles in a family, friendships, personal hygiene, and their physical environment starstv.com.au

Why is it important? Given all of this information, PDHPE is important to be taught in Primary schools because it provides students with fundamental information about life. Such as growing up, the changes that happen to their body, how to be healthy, etc. If students are not taught how to be healthy Australia would be much more of an obese nation.
