2  The basic of the W.M.A is to preserve the human life, but we should realize that death is destined to all humankind.  The fatal & incurable diseases are those whereby death is most probably believed to occur within 6 months.Here are some rules dealing with such cases:

3 1.The medical decision that the condition is terminal shall be by consensus of three consultants whose opinions bear high consideration in such conditions 2. If there is need for opinions from other speciality, this should be done & they should be engaged in the decision making.

4 3. All members of the attending team must be informed, all this must be documented in the patient medical record together with the reason on which the decision taken has been made.

5 1. The patient should be respected& receive the appropriate care without excessiveness or negligence, irrespective to the prognosis this should not lead to reduction of the visits paid to the patient or the medicine introduced to him 2.Conveyance of such an information must be made in accordance with the manner stated in the (breaking bad news) furthermore, suitable information should be released to one of the patient relatives, so that the death of the patient may not be a surprise to them.

6 3. The W.M.A should assure the patient that the proper medical care will continue 4. The physician should observe the suffering of the dying patient 5.The physician should observe the performance of continuous care of the patient cleanliness, proper nursing and appropriate nutrition

7 6.The physician should care to advise the patient to continue performing prayers even though purification may not be completely adequate due to his condition 7. If it was evident that death has become imminent,then the patient may die in the best appearance without subjecting him to futile medical trial

8 8. The visit to the patient from his family & friends must be facilitated if these visits would ease the sufferings or introduce pleasure to the patient.
