2 My Trip To Peru I chose to take a trip to Peru for many reasons:
First, I wanted to go and see the Amazon River (which is mostly in Brazil but there is a good starting portion in Peru) Second, I want to go and see the amazing Incan sites they have in Peru Lastly, I decided I want to go Peru’s northern areas. It is said that the northern Peru has very beautiful waterfalls and rivers. They also have, hiking, biking, and walking trails.

4 Machu-Picchu Info The background of this slide is a picture of Machu-Picchu. Machu-Picchu is a scenic site in Peru. It is located in the Andes Mountains, in the Cusco Region of Peru. Machu-Picchu is a 15th-century Inca site located 2,430 meters (7,970 ft) above sea level. The government has limited the number of visitors to Machu-Picchu to just 2500 people per day. More than 300,000 people a year make the trip to Machu-Picchu.

Cusco – A city in southeastern Peru Talara – A city in northwestern Peru. Huaraz – Huaraz is located in north-central Peru.

6 Lima Lima is the capital and largest city in Peru.

8 Cusco The city has a population of 358,935 citizens.

10 Talara Talara has a population of 101,674 1. Talara has a democracy
government like the U.S. In 2005 an earthquake hit Talara and many other parts of Peru. ^ A church in Talara. ^ A beach in Talara.

Lima, Peru ^ Huaraz in the mountains on a cold day. ^ A forest in Huaraz

15 In Conclusion… In conclusion, I learned that Peru is a very interesting country that puts big emphasis on how their country looks. Also, I learned new cities in Peru. I looked up some famous people from Peru. Lastly, I learned how to say a few new things in Spanish while researching.
