CE 498 – First Phase of CDP – The generation of possible design alternatives considering client needs, – The selection of the preferred alternative, and – The preparation of a work plan for implementing and completing the project. 8. CE 499 – Second Phase of CDP CE499 course is an implementation phase of the capstone design project. 9. CE 499 – Second Phase of CDP The student should: – Design the preferred alternative based on calculations and/or experimental tools. (ABET outcome c) – Work effectively as a member of the project team.
