Triangles are still used in modern art. Albanian artist Edi Muka designed a piece of art that looks like a building made of triangles. Many pieces of modern art not just paintings but, buildings, sculptures, and sketches. Some art doesn’t include triangles but include quadrilaterals. They are the most common among modern art with shapes. These shapes are placed beside each other and overlap each other to create and abstract painting. Triangles in Modern Art

Example Works

Types of Triangles 60 1.5 in. This is an equiangular triangle because its sides and angles are all congruent to each other. This is a right scalene triangle because it has a right angle and none of the sides are congruent.

Types of Triangles Cont. This triangle is a right isosceles triangle because it has two congruent sides and a right angle. This is an obtuse scalene triangle because it has an obtuse angle and no congruent sides.

Types of Triangles Cont. 60 This triangle is also equiangular because its angles and sides are all congruent.

Note: I did actually measure the measurements of the example triangles, I did not guess. Credits Images: Internet Information: Internet, Hunter Chen Triangle Outlines: Hunter Chen Awesomeness: Hunter Chen
